Paweł Karniej
My career began in logistics, but in 2018 I decided to change direction, taught myself how to code, and started working as a mobile app developer. At first I freelanced for different companies, which gave me experience across many projects and industries.
Eventually I wanted more than just client work. I began experimenting with my own app ideas, releasing projects like Newsletterytics and TeleprompterX. Some apps were small niche products, others were bigger bets, but each one taught me something about development, growth, and marketing.
I enjoy the process of turning an idea into a product, finding users, and iterating based on what works. That passion led me to start Silpho, my app studio. Today, I focus on building my own portfolio of apps while also helping others launch their first products.
The Journey
The Career Change
Left a career in logistics, taught myself to code, and started working as a mobile app developer. React Native was the framework that clicked.
The Freelance Years
Freelanced for different companies, gaining experience across many projects and industries. Learned what works in production and what doesn't.
Going Indie
Started experimenting with my own app ideas. Released Newsletterytics for Beehiiv creators, TeleprompterX for video creators, and more. Some were small niche products, others were bigger bets.
First App Sales
Sold AIVidly (AI video creator) and Rhava (which became Bibleily after acquisition). Learned that building apps others want to buy is a skill in itself.
Silpho & Ship React Native
Founded Silpho, an app studio helping founders launch React Native MVPs in 4 weeks. Distilled years of patterns into Ship React Native so other developers can skip the setup and start building.
